Hotels Moving from Zero to Positive Impact

The hotel sector recognizes that “we are not the ones who are going to change the world, but we can have an impact in the right direction”. In a CEO panel Marloes Knippenberg, CEO of Kerten Hospitality, referring to the hospitality sector is quoted saying: “We are not the ones who are going to change the world, but we can have an impact in the right direction, if in each of our projects we set flexible objectives and a model in each destination and we are transparent in the measures adopted in the area of consumption, waste reduction, etc., and we extend them to our supply chain”.

Sébastien Bazin, Chairman and CEO of Accor, Nakul Anand CEO of ITC and Dirk Bakker, CEO of Colliers International were the other co-panelists who shared their viewpoints on the critical ESG topics for the industry.
